I was trying to make dinner, so I had my dad play with Maryam. She was getting a little cranky when all of a sudden silence. He walked in to the kitchen with Maryam on his shoulders...it worked! Then, Daddy came home. She wanted her daddy. So, then it was daddy's turn. I guess she just needed some lovin.
Very curious to know how the complaint free living is going. I love the idea! Glad Maryam is getting back to normal. Love your comments! Always, Marietta
ReplyDeleteDOES YOUR HUSBAND HAVE A FAMILY? I NEVER SEEM TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BABY.WEST COAST
ReplyDeleteDear WEST COAST, obviously you're not a daily reader of this blog or you would know how inacurate your comment is. She even goes out of her way to mention Brande (Brett's sister) who is all the way over on the East Coast. She writes about Maryam's day-to-day life, if either side of the family isn't involved on that day, they don't get mentioned. If you "NEVER SEEM TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BABY" there are two reasons. One, you don't read this blog and two, when you do, Maryam obviously wasn't with her daddy's family that day.
ReplyDeleteWEST COAST, what you probably aren't aware of is that her daddy does have a family and they only live 2 miles away. They CHOOSE not to go see Maryam daily. If they saw her daily, they'd be mentioned daily.
I see Maryam often and I'm never seen on the blog...FYI.
This blog was originally written to update Maryam's family and friends on her day-to-day condition, her doctor appointments and her development. I think alll petty little comments criticizing the blog should be left behind.
The pictures of Maryam should put a smile on your face. Her story should touch your heart as you say your daily prayers for this miracle child.
Sarah, Maryam's Auntie
