Maryam watching the parade

I think the highlight of the afternoon was the parade. Maryam loved seeing her favorite characters and we loved watching her watch them. That's not to say that the rest of the afternoon wasn't great, because it was. Its just always a wonderful feeling to see someone you love so much, so very happy.
After the parade, we headed over to Midway Mania for a little 3D arcade shooting action. Daddy and Maryam stomped Mommy 177k to 141k. I had a higher accuracy score, but accuracy doesn't count in this game.
By the time we were done over at Midway Mania, CA Adventure closed. We headed over to Disneyland to catch a few rides that Maryam enjoys. She requested Winnie the Pooh a dozen times before we even got inside the park. So, we started with Winnie and worked our way back towards the entrance. Our favorites are Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Haunted Mansion is all decorated for the holidays with The Nightmare Before Christmas! A wonderful new addition this year is the aroma of gingerbread cookies at the holiday party scene. LOVE it.
After the HM we went over to Pirates. By this time I was in horrible pain. I forgot to bring my breast pump along for the day. By the time we were on Pirates I thought I was going to explode! That's probably TMI sorry. It was a strange feeling being away from Jax for the afternoon. But thankfully I had enough milk pumped for him and his grandparents were generous enough to care for him for the afternoon so we could have some time with Maryam. It was a good day.
