Maryam is without a feeding tube for the first time since she was a couple weeks old!!! It came out yesterday around 5pm at her GI appointment at CHOC. I'll post details and photos later. I'm kind of waiting to see how she reacts to seeing its gone.
Right now there is simply a pressure bandage over her hole. If after a few weeks the hole hasn't closed, surgery will be scheduled to close it.
OMG....I'm just bursting with pride!! I AM SO PROUD OF MARYAM!!!
Woo Hoo!! WTG Maryam!!! You must be so excited and happy! What an accomplishment! I cant wait for the day that Kenny gets his out(and not from it being pulled out by accident. lol)
