Yes, Maryam is pouring water on Jax. She does this often and laughs every time. Jax doesn't always laugh, but he did this time!
In this photo she's after him again! Ha!
I eventually diverted her over to the dirt to make mud pies instead of pouring more water on Jax. A water tables is such a simple concept, but it provide hours and hours of entertainment for children.
So, UGH. Medical insurance is the bane of my existence. I HATE that we need it and I hate that it can be so darn crappy!!!!! Brett's insurance policy has changed and I'm pretty sure its for the worse. We pay roughly $500/month for medical insurance for him and the kids. (I don't have coverage) The current plan is set up so that we have to pay all medical expenses up to $6000. Once we reach $6000 out of pocket THEN the insurance company will cover it. Ha! Ugh. I'm so annoyed by this. We currently owe over $4000 in medical bills from his previous plan. Yep...lucky us. So, as of September 1 we owe every physician we have seen! I got a bill for her ophthalmology appointment for $262. Yay. Maryam's prescriptions cost over $100/month. Thank God we don't need any more G-tubes. We couldn't buy them! I'm sure I'm going to faint when I get the CHOC bill. Ha! Next month we have 2 radiology appointments and a urology appointment for Jax and a pulmonology appointment for Maryam. Holy cow, its going to add up fast! Luckily we're heading into the time of the year when Maryam is constantly sick. Woohoo! Lucky us.
In SUPER good news Maryam's stoma hasn't leaked at all! She's been tube free for a week and 2 days and its completely dry. That means she won't need surgery! Yay! I don't think she could mentally handle surgery. She would freak out beyond words. I was so worried about that. I honestly think she would have a total mental break down and have a panic attack. Thankfully that's one less thing for me to worry about.
