Chinese New Year

My kids love to celebrate! They don't care what the occasion is, they always want to do something "special". One of my best friends in the whole wide world is Katie. She's Chinese. She taught me about Chinese New Year whilst we were in college. I have since been teaching my children.
Every year we go out to eat Chinese food and try to make a craft. Last year Maryam's Aunt Brande bought her a Chinese dress and she still fit it this year!
Here are some photos of the lanterns the children made. I forgot to take pictures at lunch! But Maryam was all about telling everyone Gung Hay Fat Choy!
