Weekend with Amanda

Our cousin Amanda came to visit a few weekends ago. We had so much fun! We took her bowling and to an Oscars Party. :)

Going Away Party

We had a going away party for Brett on Saturday night. I was sad all day and cried on and off all weekend. We had a really nice weekend too!
Some of our closest friends gathered to say "see ya" to Brett. We all had fun! Thank you to everyone who came, I know he felt loved. :)

Maryam's birthday party

Maryam decided that instead of a huge birthday party, she wanted to go to Build-A-Bear! So today we had a small birthday party with her grandparents. Daddy made her a beautiful cake, she had lots of great presents and had a wonderful time. :)
She got all really great presents but I think her favorites were her Dream Light, Barbie House and her Stompeez. :)
Luke, our Elf on the Shelf, even decided to participate in Maryam's birthday. ;)

Birthday party decorations

I just noticed that I haven't posted any pictures from Jax's birthday party on the blog. LAME! It was a super fun party and I'm ashamed of myself for not sharing.
I'll start off by posting pictures of the decorations.

Sunday funday! Matthew's birthday party!

Matthew is the son of the best man at our wedding. Rob and Janeth had his party at the Fontana Aquatic Center. It was its of fun! 2 pools, 2 water slides and a sprinkler park! The kids LOVED it!
After the party we did some shopping. Maryam needed new shirts BAD! Her shorts were all too short. She grew a lot between last summer and this one. The problem is she only grew taller, not thicker. So she had to try on a bunch of shorts until we found some that wouldn't fall right off of her tiny hiny!
After shopping we went out to dinner. Both kids ate well and Jax was well behaved, for him. ;-)

Another party weekend! Austin's birthday!

Big Austin made a dirt track in their backyard for the kids to race their Tonka trucks around. It was awesome. The kids ran for almost 2 hours straight!
Brett and I made the cupcakes. I made the Spiderman and Batman ones and B made the Superman ones. They came out cute!
The party was lots and lots of fun!

Saturday

Last Saturday we had two parties to attend. Both were fun! One was a child's 4the birthday and the theme was Hello Kitty. The second was a grown man's toga birthday party! The kids even dressed in togas!
