Family Time

Daddy trying to teach Maryam Checkers has been a little less than successful. But our curious little girl really wants to try to learn! Jax is laying there watching the scene unfold. The good news is that he's not screaming! Woohoo! Hopefully he stays quiet for a little longer. Usually he screams until after 10.
We got home last night after 10. It was a long day. After the test we went up to the NICU to donate a picture of Maryam. The nursery decorates with pictures of their former patients. I'll upload the photo later for my readers to see. I wanted to give them a picture that would inspire hope in other mommies of micropreemies. So I had the central picture be of how Maryam looks now instead of harping on how she used to look.
The staff LOVED it! They want to put her picture up over the scrub station. That way every parent will see her when they come visit their own little one!
Ha! The Jax not screaming phase didn't last long, he's already back at it. Damn.
