So, its been a pretty crazy year. Crazy? Yeah, I think that's the best description. I wouldn't have believed any of it, if you were to run it all down in December!
Lets see, January. In January my 2nd niece Addison was born. Brett got a new job. Grams got sick. My BFF bought a new house. We took a trip to Merced to see Grams.
February came and I welcomed it. But then Grams got hospitalized. Then on Valentine's Day Maryam got sick with pneumonia and the flu and was hospitalized for a few days. It was then that I realized that Maryam had been in the hospital for 3 of the 4 Valentine's Days she's had. Crazy!
March started out good. Grams was home from her hospital /continued care center stay. That was short lived. She went back in March 8th. She died March 25th and was laid to rest on March 30th. Yeah, March SUCKED.
That brings us to April. So far, so good. Brett and I decided to pinch pennies, cancel a Kaiser plan and move out. The house next to my BFF was available, so it made sense to move there! Its been wonderful. Maryam LOVES living next door to Anna Banana. Its nice having our own space. Having our own things. We appreciate everything our parents have done for us, both sets.
Hopefully the rest of 2010 can help make up for the first 3 months. I'm looking for a part time job to get out and bring in some extra cash. Jax will get his kidney fixed probably next month. Maybe Maryam will get her button taken out!
