Jax has a trick! You ask, "How big is Jax?" then reply with, "Soooooo big!" and he raises his hands like in the picture above! Funny this was Maryam's first trick too. I need a new bag of tricks! I know he's not a dog and I shouldn't call it a "trick", but come on! What would you call it? Its not exactly a developmental milestone. And in my plight to be original, I didn't even teach him this, Yaya did. My lack of imagination knows no bounds.
Speaking of developmental milestones, Jax stood unsupported and clapped for the first time on his 11 month birthday! Yeah! Actually it was only the 2nd time I had seen him stand unsupported ever, so to see him add the clap was pretty great! To catch it in a photo was darn right amazing!
More SOOOOO BIG!
Another milestone! Jax is crawling on all fours consistently. He has it more coordinated now so crawling is faster than scooting. Yaya and Christi think he'll be walking before he turns 1, I hope they're wrong. I want my baby to stay a baby longer! But seriously, how cute is he? Pretty damn cute.
