So, Wednesday Jax woke up sick. He was coughing, having some trouble breathing and had a stuffy nose. I took his temp and it was 101.5. I gave him some TLC and he seemed better Thursday morning. By Thursday night he fell asleep in my arms w/o a bottle, dimming the lights or rocking him....before 7:30. He didn't sleep well last night at all.
This morning he woke up w/a 101.9 fever, vomiting, coughing and breathing hard. When his temp got to 102.9 I called the doc. Doc diagnosed him w/Croup, gave him a steroid shot and told us to keep him away from Maryam. Poor guy. Ugh.
Doc says today or tomorrow will be the worst of it. So, by Sunday he should be on the mend. A day late. Maryam's first real b'day party is tomorrow! We have 15 kids planning on attending. Ugh, dumb luck.
