Jax's ultrasound

I took Jax to San Diego to have an ultrasound on his kidneys. The last one he had was in December.  At that one the doctor said the surgery was successful and everything looked the way it should. He scheduled a follow up in 6 months.
Well, we've reached the 6 month mark! Jax did great! He thought the ultrasound jelly stuff was funny. He kept putting his fingers in it and then he laughed and said "Ewwww." It was cute.
After the ultrasound he had an appointment with the doctor. The doctor read the ultrasound and said his kidneys were "within the parameters that we want". So, in other words, the surgery appears to have been successful, there has been no scar tissue built up to cause another blockage and Jax doesn't need another ultrasound until next June. Yay!!!
After his appointment we stopped at my friend Jessica's house to rest, change Jax's diaper and eat. I haven't seen her in forever!!! It was nice to catch up. Jax is the same size as her son Carter. Carter is 26 months, Jax is 21. We don't call him Jax the Giant for no reason!
