A perfect ending

"The happiness of the bee and the dolphin is to exist. For man, it is to know that and to wonder at it." Jacques Yves Cousteau

After we said a prayer for Grandpa and headed back to Newport Harbor we ran into a pod of dolphins. The captain slowed the yacht down so we could enjoy the rare scenery. We watched as the dolphins swam around driving the fish up to the surface of the water. As the fish came up to the surface the sky was suddenly filled with dozens of seagulls and pelicans.
We watched the dolphins swimming around and the birds diving into the water. Both the children and adults on board were in awe. I think it was the perfect way to say good-bye to Grandpa.
